Having trouble getting your pet to us?

Our home visit service is available to local areas during the day from Monday - Friday.

Local areas include: Whittlesea, Mernda, Doreen, Yarrambat, Plenty South Morang, Epping, Bundoora and Mill Park.

Please understand however there is a limit to what we can do without the full resources of the clinic. In some situations we may need to take your pet back to the clinic for further examination or treatment.

We prefer home visits to be booked at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to plan our day and ensure we have both a vet and vehicle available at your preferred time. Naturally for urgent situations we will attempt to get to you as quickly as possible.

Home Euthanasia

A home visit is sometimes a suitable arrangement for those of you who want to farewell your pet in the comfort of your own home.

Preparing for a Home Visit

Our fees for a home visit include a 'house call' consultation fee plus travel charges based on a return trip. An estimation of expected costs will be provided for you beforehand.

For all home visits we assume that you or someone acting on your behalf will be present and able to assist the attending vet in examining your pet. If you feel you are unable to meet this requirement, please let us know at the time of booking so we can arrange for a veterinary nurse to be sent along with the attending vet

Home visits are convenient for:

• Litter or multiple pet  vaccinations - Bundling all your furry family in the car at once can be a handful
• Pets which dislike or get stressed when travelling
• People with limited or no transport
• Seniors who no longer drive
