Dental Scale and Polish

Did you know that by the age of 3 years most Dogs and Cats are suffering from some degree of Dental Disease?

The brown stains you see on your pet's teeth are due to the build up of plaque which mineralises over time and becomes hard. This is called Tartar.

This hardened material can only be removed by your Vet using special dental instruments. Just like your dentist.

To make it easy and affordable for you to have your pet's teeth restored to good health we've kept our fees for a dental scale and polish very reasonable.

You'll pay only:

  • Cats: $150
  • Dogs:$180

This fee includes a general anaesthetic which is needed for any dental procedure in pets. However any extractions, should they be necessary will cost extra.

If your pet is aged 7 years or over it's highly recommended that you also consider a pre - anaesthetic blood test. This is an option but an important one to think about.

So, if you've been putting off having your pets' teeth cleaned, take advantage of this special offer today and make a booking.

Thinking of desexing Your Cat or Dog?

One of the most common phone enquiries we receive is about how much we charge for desexing cats and dogs.

Now while it's important to "shop around" to ensure you get best value for money for anything you buy, it's equally important you are fully infomed of what is included in the price you are quoted over the phone.

Providing all this valuable information and answering all the questions you may have about the procedure can take some time because there's a lot of ground to cover.

This is why we've written this handy Guide to Desexing your Cat and Dog which we hope will answer most of your questions about the operation plus provide some insights into why fees vary between clinics.

In it we cover:

  • The benefits of desexing - for you and your pet
  • What is involved in the procedure - it is surgery after all
  • What influences cost - inclusions and exclusions
  • The important questions you need to ask when shopping around for prices
