Veterinary Nurse - Receptionist - (Maternity leave position)

One of our long term nurses will soon be taking leave to start a family so we need to find an enthusiastic and capable person to fill her shoes.
The position comprises a combination of morning and evening surgery and reception shifts between our South Morang and Whittlesea Clinics.
Ideally we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse or someone who has worked in a similar professional role in the animal care or allied health field. Hours on offer are a minimum of 30 hours / week and incorporate a 1 in 4 full weekend shift.
We can offer you a work environment that is both fulfilling and challenging as not only will you be seeing a wide variety of cases and playing an active role in their care, you'll also be working with some of the best technology available in practice today.
During this time you'll be involved in the big move from our existing premises to a larger purpose built ones so it's quite an exciting time to be around. It's possible that this position may then become a permanent one.
This position is ideal for someone who wishes to extend their qualifications in Veterinary Nursing or further develop areas of interest within the animal care field.
A prerequisite however is a full Victorian Manual drivers licence as the ability to drive our Animal Ambulance is essential to the role.
